Cave geology continues to give up past climate secrets. Fab optical data research being done at the research center. Entire reef will be mapped meter x meter within next year.

Very busy shooting video/photos of caves & island peculiarities. Had some odd items show up in the cave digitals. Working to assess what is on the images & why. Doesn’t appear to be lens flare.
The bioluminescent sea worms revealed all their synchronized mating glory 2 days after the full moon, 56 1/2 minutes after sunset. The females rise out of the sea bottom releasing green swirls of bio-light. Males see them and fertilize the galaxy of released eggs. Hundreds of swirling circles of light spot the coastal waters for 9 1/2 minutes , then nothing–over. An amazingly regular biological event with origins going back millions of years.
Working on an island gives one perspective and a large dose of humility. We are all surrounded by the forces of nature, but on an island this obvious fact becomes the essential point of daily existence: a fierce southeasterly wind can rise up into a storm making a boat return to shore a living nightmare. How easy to forget when living in a cubicle home…
